Nucar Cares: 80 Backpacks Donated to Boston 25’s Stuff the Bus

Back-to-school season is about more than new schedules and the return to the classroom. For many families, it also means making sure students have the supplies they need to begin the year ready to learn. Nucar Toyota of Norwood was glad to lend a hand through Nucar Cares, donating 80 backpacks filled with school supplies to the Boston 25 Stuff the Bus drive.

Helping Local Students Start the School Year Ready

Boston 25 News teamed up with Star Market and The Salvation Army for the Stuff the Bus school supply drive on August 19. The one-day event, held at the Dedham Star Market on Route 1, collected school supplies to support local students and teachers as the new school year approached.
With the event happening just up Route 1 from Norwood, it was an opportunity to support families in the community we call home.

Nucar contributed 80 backpacks packed with school supplies, helping give local students useful classroom essentials they can carry with them from the first day of school onward.

A backpack filled with pencils, notebooks, folders, and other everyday supplies may seem simple, but having those essentials ready can make an important difference when a student walks into the classroom for a new year.

Nucar Cares About Our New England Communities

Community involvement is an important part of the Nucar Cares program. Across New England, Nucar supports initiatives connected to education, health, community engagement, veterans, environmental causes, and other organizations working to strengthen the places where our customers and team members live.

Stuff the Bus put that commitment into action close to home. It brought local organizations, businesses, and community members together around a straightforward goal: helping students begin school with the tools they need.
